I Become the Person I Aspire to Help

Yes!  Every few months or so. . . and what a restoration of my soul!

I attended a full day conference at Intel last week and got to hear several speakers and presentations. (I got to speak about “Improving Communication Using Your Intuition” as well!)  When I heard the keynote guy make this comment, I fell in love with myself all over again. It was truly a “That’s Me! That’s Me!” moment.

I am a fan of equality rather than heirarchy, certainly when it comes to my coaching practice, and in any creative endeavor.

Would this comment invite you to see where in your life you think you need to be or show up a certain way?

And then, WHAT IF you could let go of that expectation and show up vulnerable or raw or organic ? Instead ?

When someone says, “Wow Jen, you walk the walk” it ranks in my top favorite compliments to receive. And “Walk the Talk” is also good too.

:)

Where or how do you position yourself as above or more, perhaps in order to uphold a certian image or identity?

As a coach, I am always dancing with this opportunity to be in my “Brilliant Moron” so that I can invite my clients to meet me with their authenticity and vulnerabilty and consequently their powerful SELVES all open and wide. I am forever releasing my need to be perfect. I love that.

And, its just simply true. (becoming the person I aspire to help)  My guess is that we all desire to learn from and be supported by that version of ourselves that is wiser and greater and fuller.  My wish for you (and me) is for removing whatever gets in the way of that greater version of ourselves being fully present.  We really are our best friends.

YES to la vida loco!

I’m so glad I got to find you in your perfect moment today. I recommend greeting people with that very comment. Simply acknowledges that whatever IS, is the absolute right on scene. Imagine how this can disarm any resistance. Then there is more room for FUN!  And the la vida part. Let’s agree that la…

Use Your Creativity to Make Expressing Your True Self EASY. Six Habits to Make it Happen Expressing your true self is a process, or an ongoing practice. It’s an approach to living fully. Dude, Sensitivity!

Important Preface: We cannot eliminate the annoying voices of fear that taunt our inner confidence. Never will they dissappear or go away forever. Instead, make room for the co-existence of the fear and the good feeling stuff to simply be able to make the right choice in the most opportune moment. What ya gonna pay attention…

What is a Brilliant Moron?

I fell in love with brilliant moron when I first heard it. The term was used to describe the freedom and joy of being ALL of ourselves. Being in the totality of who we are as human beings. I was smitten with the idea of being in non-judgement of myself, having no shame for whatever I needed…

Insecurities

Which comes first, you feeling insecure, or you believing in your insecurities?  Feeling insecure costs you alot of precious energy.  So much over-compensation!  A Brilliant Moron is an amazing and talented person who also indulges insecurity – thereby appearing onstage as a moron. . . which often leads to something amazing. . . like a…

Having Nothing To Hide

Hiding something takes more energy than expressing it.  Hiding your brilliance?  Hiding your faults?  What shameful, horribly embarrassing trait is worth all the energy you spend covering it up?  Is that brilliant? Brilliant to concoct the cover-up scheme, maybe, but definately moron to act it out.  Since we already are transparent, just by our very…
